Niels Jacobsen

Author Niels Jacobsen is an ecological consultant with a lifelong interest in plants and animals including reptiles and amphibians. He has worked for Southern African conservation department for 30 years of which 20 were spent as herpetologist of the former Transvaal Chief Directorate of Nature and Environmental Conservation Since 1995 he has been working as a freelance ecological consultant throughout southern and central Africa. His interest in all living thins stems from an upbringing in a home in which the natural word was always the topic of conversation.
